Position Overview & Specifications

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our luxury car storage Emporium as a car service professional. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent car detailing/valeting and general car movement to our established business. Our emporium consists of a collection of high-end classic cars as well as modern day exotica. We provide numerous services such as vehicle storage, vehicle prop hire, film and photographic studios and conference suites catering to a discerning customer base.

The successful candidate will possess excellent car detailing and valeting services, ability to drive classic and modern vehicles, manual handling expertise and a willingness to assist in various tasks around the facility.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Meticulous attention to valeting of luxury cars, ensuring they are immaculate in appearance and meet the highest standards of detailing.
  • Utilise appropriate valeting tools, products, and techniques to ensure the preservation and protection of the vehicles exterior and interior surfaces.
  • Conduct inspections to identify any damage, scratches or imperfections on the vehicles and report them to appropriate personnel.
  • Complete daily/weekly /monthly vehicle condition reports.
  • Handle and store valeting supplies and equipment in a safe and organised manner, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist in vehicle prop services, including the preparation and positioning of vehicles for film and photography shoots, car show events and client needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and provide support as needed for various tasks within the company.
  • Maintain inventory of valeting supplies, request restocking when necessary, and ensure correct storage and usage of materials.
  • Adhere to the company's quality standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Continuously update knowledge of car models, features and valeting techniques to enhance service delivery.

Key requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and impeccable standards.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of valeting tools, products, and techniques to achieve optimal results.
  • Excellent manual handling skills, and physical fitness to handle various tasks including lifting stock and positioning vehicles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrate commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Full UK License, no previous convictions.

Job description:

  • Contract: Temporary to Permanent
  • Hours: Full time 08:30am – 17:30pm
  • Availability: Weekdays including some Weekends
  • Pay: £25,000.00 per year plus bonus.
