LEGAL INVESTIGATOR / CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINER PART-TIME POSITION TO WORK ON ONGOING ASSIGNMENTS.
This position will work for an investigation agency in Orange County, California. The position is a part-time position as a legal investigator. Ideally, we would like to hire someone with experience as an insurance fraud investigator to conduct fraud investigations, take statements, write summaries, and due diligence background investigations. We will evaluate candidates with law firm employment experience to determine if they are a good fit for the position with the required education or certification.
This position requires exceptional English writing, English speaking and legal writing, experience, attention to detail, and the ability to organize information for the exhibit list. The Candidate can possess a college degree AS, BA, JD, Paralegal, or Certified Paralegal or Legal Specialist.
The subject will be financial investigations, asset searches, and estate discovery. Create and update Excel spreadsheets of ongoing assignments to monitor investigator progress.
Candidates must have experience with a desktop computer or tablet, with Windows 7 or newer operating systems, Microsoft Word, PDF Pro, Excel spreadsheet, open, read, create, email, and the ability to video chat with the client.
- Exceptional grammar and legal writing are a must
- Experience taking witness and claimant statements
