Sprinter Delivery Driver

Strictly Recruiting Ltd are seeking Sprinter Van Drivers in the Edinburgh area for one of the UK's largest parcel delivery services.

This role is initially for 2 weeks, based on performance, could be ongoing.

The successful individuals must have previous experience in a similar role and must possess a valid driving license. Our client will require you to pass and internal DBS in which the process.

You will be required to deliver a quality of service to consumers across the area you are placed, ensuring that delivery times are adhered to and customers are left satisfied upon delivery. You will be required to work of an automated route in which the depot provide via a hand held terminal. This will allow for time allocations and provide a route of travel.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who have a can-do attitude, who thrive in a fast paced environment.

​Must have:

• A valid UK driving license
• Less than 6 points on your license
• Be able to pass a DBS
• Have a minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role
• Good road safety awareness
• Basic Maths & English
• Safety boots and high vis vest will be required

Hours: Monday - Friday - 8am- 6pm

Dress code - Casual - PPE to be worn.

• Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
