Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a Freelance UI/UX Designer to help us deliver exciting new features and improve usability in our data management and analytics platform.

UI/UX Designer responsibilities include the understanding of user requirements, designing graphic elements and building the flow or navigational components to simplify the complex.

To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of user experience of data products, truly understanding the business needs / personas. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web based analytics/ B2B SaaS solutions, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you'll create both functional and appealing features that address our customer's needs - helping improve user experience and grow our customer base.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate user requirements in collaboration with our product manager and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps (using InVision)
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets - this is all about data visualisation and information management experience
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields
• Develop UI mockups and high fidelity prototypes that clearly illustrate how components function and display in active/ inactive states
• Respond to new briefs in a timely fashion and give transparent estimates for delivery
• Prepare and present designs to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to Streamhub's style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a UI/UX Designer
• 1+ year or several projects with Analytics Dashboards, or DMPs or other B2B software that helps manage large pieces of data in simple UIs
• Excellent knowledge of InVision for UX prototyping
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, Figma etc.
• Team spirit; excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the business, iterating quickly and asking the right questions.
• Good time-management skills to estimate work upfront and deliver on time
• Big plus, if you are able to come to our London office once a week or at the start of the assignments
