Overview:
Reporting to the Head of Studio Operations, the Studio Coordinator will offer comprehensive management and support to our global Design studio, alongside assisting with related projects and shows. The role based in our London design studio for 5 days per week. Please note – this is not a design or stylist position.
Working as part of the Studio Management team requires resilience, excellent time management and communication skills. Success will be achieved through effective communication, thinking on your feet and demonstrating resourcefulness in a creative and fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for fashion, working as part of a team offering comprehensive studio management exposure.
Your Mission:
As part of a small Studio Management team, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing and coordinating travel, accommodation and itineraries for employees across the design studio.
  • Support in reviewing and managing the studio schedule on a weekly basis, managing amendments as required and communicating dates to the various teams.
  • Anticipate the necessary arrangements according to the Studio calendar (including but not limited to travel schedules, petty cash requests, research and catering).
  • Provide financial administrative support to the Design studio, through managing the quarterly budget, processing employee’s monthly expenses (in accordance with Company policy), and managing petty cash and advances
  • End-to-end support for the organisation of the Seasonal shows, including travel and accommodation bookings, expense processing, dispatching deliveries, equipment and stationery for the Designers, preparing the backstage, allocating runners and the setting up of a temporary atelier.
  • General Studio Management support, to ensure a smooth, efficient and effective running of the studio to facilitate collection launches (including IT set-up, design equipment, management of stationery and haberdashery supplies, co-ordination of hired archive samples, courier coordination and compliance with H&S procedures at all times).
  • Support in coordinating design resources and the management of ad hoc projects, including fittings, scheduling models and liaising with press and stylists in preparation for photo shoots.

Systems and Essentials
  • Previous experience in a similar role or product development where you have been required to prioritise and multi-task various and competing demands
  • Computer literate, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel &PowerPoint)
  • Educated to degree level in a related discipline with evident interest in fashion
  • Knowledge of the design process
  • Intermediate or higher conversational French is favourable but not essential.
