PERMENANT – FULL TIME – 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK


About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT professional who is driven and self-motivated to join our dynamic and fast-paced IT department. Supporting over 600 members of staff across multiple platforms, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the service to ensure smooth operations.


Moreover, in this role, you may also engage with some of our children and young people who utilise technology, fostering a positive and supportive environment for their technological needs.


You will provide effective and efficient operational IT support, ensuring the timely resolution of helpdesk and service requests. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support
  • Maintain the centre’s user infrastructure
  • Perform routine maintenance and administration tasks to ensure a secure, stable, and reliable user experience
  • Visit remote sites to install hardware and troubleshoot faults
  • Record and action appropriate and authorised change requests
  • Assist in the implementation of 365, including email migration, software upgrades, and user training


About you

You will have practical experience of working in a technical support role and be committed to delivering consistent, high quality IT support at all times. You will be able to work on your own initiative and able to work as a part of a small but busy team. We are looking for someone who is positive, approachable and a logical thinker with a structured approach to troubleshooting in complex environments. You will have experience with 365, Virtual Technologies and Endpoint Management.
