Position Overview & Specifications

We are looking for a passionate software engineer that cares about developer experience to join the finance platform team, helping to build and role-model a collaborative engineering culture. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from world-class engineers who are responsible for the technology that underpins how Spotify receives revenue and pays artists. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music.

What you'll do

  • Become a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
  • Participate in each step of our development process, working with design, engineering and product managers
  • Write and commit code to our production codebases in collaboration with your team members and engineers from other teams
  • Contribute across the stack, making valuable contribution in both frontend and backend projects

Who you are

  • A current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or similar subject area or pursuing a bootcamp certification in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • You have a graduation date of 2024
  • You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023
  • You have experience with a modern backend or frontend development stack and toolset. We use Java for backend and React for frontend. Some basic experience would be beneficial.
  • You have passion for user experience and believe in building software with a user-centric approach
