Cardiac Physiologist | Bushey |Permanent – full time | Flexible shift patterns |Competitive salary dependant on experience

Spire Bushey Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a BSE accredited Cardiac Physiologist to join their dynamic team. This role is ideally suited to an experienced Practitioner who can confidently deliver a specialist clinical diagnostic service and provide a high standard of care to all patients.

We are looking for someone who is able to commit to full time hours however part time may be considered. We are able to offer complete flexibility in our shift patterns and able to accommodate whatever may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac investigations, which are complex and non-routine.

• Assess patient’s health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload.
• Plan deliver and evaluate care to meet individual’s health and wellbeing needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.
• Monitor blood pressure and heartbeat rate
• Conduct echocardiographs (ECG)
• Scan and log interventional equipment used
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and ready for use
  

Who we're looking for:

• Holds a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
• BSE accreditation is essential
• Experience conducting echocardiograms, stress testing and tape interpretation
• Experienced in pace maker checks would be desirable
