Position Overview & Specifications

Are you a graduate from within the last 3 years?

In this Front End Developer job, you will have the opportunity to build familiar and exciting projects from the ground up.

You will utilise your programming skills within a modern, agile tech stack encompassing JavaScript frameworks such as Node, React, or Svelte and many more. You will work within a dynamic cloud-environment, Google Cloud / AWS, encompassing various methodologies.

Key responsibilities - Front End Developer

In this Software Developer opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of an agile cross-functional squad to develop the platform beta from discovery through to launch and beyond
  • Coding the front-end web application, both user-facing and admin user interface
  • As part of the core initial team, you will have a voice in all our technology choices such as testing automation and deployment tools
  • You will set up test automation, continuous integration, and monitoring tools

Job requirements - Front End Developer

  • Educated to degree level (2.1 or above) in Computer Science or another relevant discipline
  • Track record of success delivering high-quality and high-performance web applications using a reactive framework, preferably Svelte but open to other similar frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of best practice in usability, accessibility, and responsive design
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Kanban and/or Scrum. Happy working in a cross-functional product team alongside designers and other stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with continuous integration and test automation. You love to ship, the more frequently the better
  • You’re a team player with good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills who works to help others succeed

Please note: Examples of your coding skills will be necessary to take an application forward. For example, an updated GitHub or similar code repositories.

Salary - 27,000-35,000 a year base.

Remote / WFH options
