Description

An independent, community pharmacy with a friendly, experienced team. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and helping those in our community. The individual will have an exceptional team, that will guide and support them during their apprenticeship.

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

You will:

• Gain experience in retail Learn about over-the-counter medicines
• Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
• Order pharmaceutical stock
• Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
• Assist with minor ailments

Salary: £9.80 per hour then £10.40 per hour after 3 month probation period for the 1st year. Year 2 salary £11 per hour.

Working hours - 37.5 hours over 5 days, between Monday-Saturday.

An opportunity for Level 3 Progression after finsihing the Level 2 Course

Entry requirements

GCSE Maths and English desirable.

Training to be provided

Pharmacy services assistant Level 2 (GCSE)

Functional skills if required.

Things to consider

Learning will be delivered online in a live virtual classroom environment in the pharmacy, so candidates need to be competent in and have access to a computer.
