Live Event Crew

Silverback are looking for people to join our incredible crew. It takes a rare breed to do this job and to do it to the Silverback standard!

The Birmingham Team cover The Midlands and beyond. We work on live events, exhibition and conferences at prestigious venues, on location with TV, Film and Fashion, and sports stadiums. The work is physically demanding, and the hours can be unsociable, BUT you’ll never be bored or in the same space for too long.

Our crew take pride in their work and thrive on their ability to deliver each job safely and successfully. They are loved by our clients who know when they have Silverback on site with them, their job will run smoothly and on time, if not ahead of schedule.

Whether you have experience, or new to the crewing industry, if you're keen, well presented and physically fit, then you can carve a career with Silverback.

Our core work:

• Building sets, stages and stands
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Setting up event spaces with furniture, AV equipment, etc.
• Moving props and scenery

You will definitely be:

• A positive person with an even more positive attitude
• Physically fit and ready to flex those muscles
• An effective communicator
• Punctual, able to navigate the Midlands region, and work to schedules (safely)
• Happy to work some scary hours, at weekends, and evenings

You may also have:

• Some manual handling/heavy lifting experience
• Experience in the events industry, or similar (maybe film or TV)
• Clean driving license
• Any plant operating licenses (telehandlers, cherry pickers, fork or scissor lifts)

Salary: £12.60-£17.00 per hour
