Live Out House Manager

Live Out House Manager in Notting Hill, up to 75k gpa doe

We have a lovely role for an experienced, switched-on house manager to join an informal household in Notting Hill. You won’t be working super long hours, but you’ll have a multifaceted role, wearing different hats across the day to ensure the household runs smoothly.

Duties include:

• Day to day running of the household
• Oversight of the household team, ensuring daily/weekly tasks are achieved
• Liaison with the Principal and ensuring effective communication with the team and family
• Visually checking the property and liaising with contractors to arrange quotes and repairs as required
• Occasional driving duties (school runs or driving the Principal)
• walking the dogs in the morning, feeding the dogs
• whilst the day to day is fairly relaxed and casual, the family do like to entertain so you must be very confident ensuring high standards of service are delivered and staff are trained

Ideally you will have prior experience maintaining a similarly high-end residential property with an understanding of the various home systems, preventative and reactive maintenance programmes etc.

The male principal is a huge motorbike fan and has a large collection, so it would be a bonus if you are a motorbike lover and have a motorbike license or were interested in learning.

The family are fantastic employers who have staff that have been with them for over 15 years! There is an existing, close-knit team in place who all help each other so must be someone who is a natural collaborator and works well in a team environment.

Travel is not expected as part of this role, but you must be flexible to work longer hours if the family entertain, particularly as there will be plenty of downtime 4 months of the year when they are abroad.

Must be dog friendly

Hours: 8am-5pm (45 hours a week), sometimes 9am start
5 days a week including 3 weekends out of the month when the clients are in residence (they are away ALL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS so there is plenty of downtime and during this time you can work Monday to Friday)

Salary: up to 75K gpa DOE
