A Snapshot of Your Day

The main purpose of the graduate placement is to learn about Quality Control, Quality Management, Quality Assurance and Business Excellence in Project Management and apply it to our complex multi skilled, multi disciplined Projects to deliver operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Quality Planning: Understand the fundamental and importance of quality planning to ensure all project team is aligned to these common principles as well as the requirements stipulated in the quality plan is understood by the suppliers.
  • Quality control: Understand construction activities and how to control Quality In complex Construction projects by means of ensuring all processes and quality plans are aligned to project requirements .
  • Quality Assurance:This will involve a basic understanding managing Inspection and Test activities in the factory and at site, conformance of products to customer and Siemens Specifications, Defect Management, in the offshore and onshore substation projects.
  • Quality management: Learn about the Audit and Assurance Process. Understand the basics of Internal and Supply Chain Audits , prepare basic site reports , learn how to investigate product failures.
  • You will learn about various disciplines related to the offshore and onshore substation design and management from engineering as well as at site level.
  • Prepare reports of Non Conforming product or service and manage closure by communicating and coordinating with project team members (including customer).
  • Collate information for the Project O&M Manuals

What You Bring

  • Engineering/STEM/Project Management Bachelors degree or Masters
  • Self motivated and keen to learn
  • Can Demonstrate some Engineering knowledge and skills
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, proactive manner
