Health Care Support Worker - Ward 33

Ward 33 based at King’s Mill Hospital are looking for a healthcare support worker to join their busy ward specialising in the care of elderly patients.

The Ward accommodates 24 patients with a mixture of bays and en suite rooms.

We have a well-established medical team which we work with daily and ward based multidisciplinary staff to provide the patients with patient centred care.

Ward 33 is a modern 24 bedded clinical area with en-suite rooms.

You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure outstanding patient care. This will be a challenging and exciting opportunity and will enable the individual to develop new and existing skills. It will involve a mixture of both day shifts and night shifts.

We have a very friendly well-established nursing team who are dedicated to sharing their skills and knowledge with new and junior staff.

We have an excellent clinical area with many possibilities for staff to progress professionally and as a team we regularly arrange for ward events to celebrate achievements both professionally and personally.
