Position Overview & Specifications

ServicesNowGroup incorporating DictateNow and InTouchNow are the well known ISO certified legal business support outsourcing company working with firms of solicitors across a broad spectrum of legal fields and professional companies. Our Human Resources department is at the heart of our Business Support teams and assist staff and self employed contractors. We are expanding to continue to provide a first class level of support to our staff and therefore seek a Human Resources Assistant with Compliance experience to join our busy friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the legal, medical and corporate field and is a part time permanent position (9.30am to 5.30pm initially 2-3 days per week) based at our Head Office in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire but with an opportunity for hybrid working following successful completion of a probationary period.

Responsibilities

* Handling and overseeing recruitment including arranging interviews and onboarding of new staff

* Monitoring staff progress through probation periods

* Scheduling , preparing and assisting with staff annual reviews

* Monitoring employee performance including attendance, sickness

* monitoring and processing staff requests for annual leave and maintaining accurate records

* reviewing staff training needs and arranging internal/external training

* responsibility for maintaining ISO certifications including all paperwork, arranging audits and reviews

* prepare agendas for staff meetings and departmental meetings, attend meetings, take notes and prepare minutes

Knowledge & Experience

The applicant must be/have

· Excellent command of the English language with excellent grasp of accurate spelling, grammar and the ability to favour concise and clear writing

· Articulate with good communication skills

· Established competence in using Microsoft Word, as well as knowledge of MS Office and general Internet applications with excellent accurate typing skills

· self motivated as the job involves working both independently and as part of a team

· Confidence in dealing with client information and colleagues of different departments via all methods of communication, including face to face

· Adaptable, with experience of working in a busy, varied, and demanding environment

· a minimum of 2 years previous work experience in Human Resources

* a recognised qualification in Human Resources is desirable

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
