Production Operative, Bishopbriggs, £10.93 per hour plus overtime paid at £16.40 per hour
We’re working with a worldwide business producing parts and components for the prestigious car manufacture industry. They are in the process of revolutionising their operation and are now growing their team of production operators in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.

What’s pretty unique about this opportunity is that you don’t need to have any previous manufacturing experience or qualifications. They are prepared to invest in you if you have a positive attitude, you’re keen to learn, you can listen to instructions, you work hard and you want to do well.
What to expect
In terms of shift patterns, you will work; Early Shift - Monday to Thursday 6am till 2pm with an early finish of 1.10pm on a Friday / Back Shift - Monday to Thursday 2pm till 10.30pm with a shorter shift of 1.10pm till 6pm on a Friday / Night Shift – Sunday 8.50pm till 6am and then Monday to Thursday 10pm till 6am.
As a production operator here there are various different aspects of the manufacturing process that you’ll get involved in, but remember you don’t need any previous experience. As long as you’re attitude is right and you’re keen to learn, you’ll do well. Not only that; you’ll have the opportunity to train, learn and progress. Many long standing members of the team started off on the shop floor and now hold senior positions.
