Forklift Operator

Seakargo Ltd is a rapidly expanding Freight Forwarding & Logistics company in the Felixstowe area. We currently operate from our head office in Felixstowe, our warehouse and office located on Felixstowe docks, and our office in China. We deal with all aspects of logistics and have departments in Forwarding, Customs, Transport, Warehousing and Container Storage.

This is an exciting position to be part of our team in the warehouse at Felixstowe docks. It is a high paced, efficient, and friendly environment. At our Felixstowe docks warehouse we handle a variety of commodities that will vary on a daily basis.

This job role involves:

- Unloading/loading containers & trailers of palletised cargo

- Unloading/loading containers of cars

- Completing devan reports

- Labelling and checking in and out cargo using our bar code inventory system

- Re-working and wrapping cargo

- Working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

- 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) (2 sick days per year) (1 flexi day incurred each full year of employment/max 5)

You will need:

- Valid fork truck license

- Experience working within a fast paced warehouse environment

- Must be hardworking, careful (high value commodities), and have a good attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
