Description

What does the role involve?

• Identify and lead on organisational development to support the delivery of the People Strategy
• Lead the Learning and Development team
• Oversee the design and deployment of high impact leadership and development programmes, events and projects and functional pathways
• Manage and deliver a cost effective and performance orientated L&D service, ensuring that performance targets and budgets are met
• Support the development of the senior leaders within ScS
• Work collaboratively with the wider people team and colleagues in ScS to drive the RIGHT values and behaviours

Who are we looking for?

• Previous experience of leading and delivering people projects across a large organisation
• Learning and Development qualification or equivalent experience including managing Apprenticeship programmes
• Significant experience in delivering strategic learning & development, management or employee engagement interventions
• Previous experience of influencing key stakeholders to design and deliver leaning solutions to meet individual, team and organisational needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The passion to deliver excellent service to our colleagues
• A real people person – the ability to build strong relationships with our colleagues
• A team player
• Adaptable to change in a fast paced environment
• Strong work ethic, resilient, self-starter and a can do attitude
