Position Overview & Specifications

Overview

Working in a small high-profile team, you will be managing the delivery of all digital marketing assets. You will work collaboratively with the digital trading and optimisation teams to create and implement promotions, brand pages, category banners and email assets across multiple devices. You will be responsible for ensuring that all promotional campaigns and artwork are delivered effectively and efficiently. You will help develop our online experience and improve our customer journey.

This is a hybrid role, where you'll be based in our Head Office in Yeovil 3 days a week, working flexibly around the core office hours of 10am-3pm.

Key responsibilities

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the continued and timely delivery of a wide range of digital assets for the digital merchandising and digital advertising teams.
  • Ensuring that design briefs are executed efficiently and to a high standard to avoid re-work.
  • Make recommendations to continuously improve the design brief process alongside the International Trading team.
  • Create industry leading artwork in line with toolkit and other agreed design principles in accordance with all technical requirements, on time and to agreed standards.
  • Produce artwork to a consistently high standard using InDesign and other programmes as appropriate.
  • Optimise digital assets to ensure excellent onsite performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with other internal departments, including Digital Trading, Commercial Planning and Marketing to ensure effective and efficient delivery of required output.
  • Support the International team with proofing, workflow, and general resolution of any art working issues/complexities.
  • Maintain artwork templates and style sheets in conjunction with agreed briefs and brand books, whilst maintaining file structure, version control and archives.
  • Observe external trends and developments including competitor activity – update the International Trading team with your findings for competitive advantage.
  • Seeks opportunities to build own skills/experience through planned development and working with others, in particular networking with teams within the Sparks studio.

Required skills & experience

  • Magento experience would be highly desirable.
  • Working on campaigns across multiple channels in a complex deadline driven environment.
  • Digital background or a demonstrable passion for digital design, any experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and CMS platforms would be highly valuable.

Knowledge of InDesign/ Illustrator/ Photoshop/ Acrobat essential.
