Position Overview & Specifications

Job Description:
Risk Management & Insurance Internship – 12 months

Mission: Support the Schneider Electric Risk & Insurance Management (SERIM) Team in its missions to support Schneider achieving its business objectives
  • Identification and assessment of insurable risks
  • Design of compliant insurance programmes
  • Selection of insurance companies and service providers
  • Recommendation of loss prevention and mitigation strategies
  • Communication of insurance and risk processes to stakeholders
Location: Hybrid: London Victoria / working from home


Key responsibilities:


  • Support the team in the creation of effective communications of risk topics to internal & external stakeholders such as insurance companies and other Schneider corporate functions
  • Improve the visibility and functionality of the team’s SharePoint site
  • Improve the management of risk management data associated with loss prevention activities to drive change
  • Support the team in the management of global insurance programmes, through the entire renewal process
  • Collaborate with the group’s sustainability function to leverage the use of SE’s insurance data and the resources of global insurance companies
  • Assist in the handling of specific complex insurance claims
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or working towards

Key Skills & Attributes:
  • Excellent communication & IT skills
  • Knowledge of Risk Management practices (Commercial Insurance knowledge an advantage)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft products – especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Management of time and differing tasks & priorities
