SIA Security Officer / Event Security

We are looking for SIA Licensed Security staff (DS or CP) to work at events at the OVO Arena, Wembley.

Good communication skills and the ability to not panic under pressure.

This is a part time, zero hour contract with holiday pay included.

Your role will include the following duties:

• Overseeing guest flow in and out of events
• Conducting bag searches in a professional manner, to eliminate prohibited items entering the building
• Meet and greet / VIP access control
• Thoroughly checking credentials to verify access to restricted areas
• Interacting with the public in a friendly and professional manner, assisting with directions and general queries
• Responding to conflict and disturbance, and following correct procedures; reporting in a timely manner

• Will present themselves professionally
• Is confident in dealing with customer queries / has previous customer service experience
• Has an ability to recognise conflict and disturbance in a fast-paced environment
• Has a keen eye for detail and is an excellent decision maker
• Happy to be contacted about work at short notice

Essential:

• A valid SIA Licence – Either a: Door supervisor / Close protection Licence
• ACT certificates completed (Both online courses)
• First Aid Course completed (Minimum EFAAW)
• Clear spoken English
• A 5-year checkable employment history, contact details for referencing
• Own travel into and within London
