About the Role:

We are recruiting for a junior / mid-level Business Analyst who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Reporting into the Head of Implementation / Senior Business Analyst, you will work with a virtual team comprising Project, Product, Risk, Engineering and Operations colleagues, with responsibilities ranging from performing requirements analysis, assisting solution modelling, documenting solution design (technology and operations), resolving risks and issues, and performing business acceptance testing.

What your day-to-day looks like:

• Elicit and assess functional, non-functional and data requirements from clients, end users, and other stakeholders, and perform analysis to identify systems configuration and customisation needs.
• Support senior Business Analyst and Product Owner colleagues to develop high level project briefs and business requirements into epics and user stories.
• Participate in agile activities such as daily stand-ups.
• Document solution design through e.g., business rule definitions and parameters, customer journeys, end-to-end processes and operating procedures, and perform risk assessments.
• Validate requirements traceability to system and process solution design, once developed.
• Participate in change impact assessments to evaluate new or amended user requirements.
• Conduct meetings to gather critical information, to produce usable outcomes, and to present ideas and findings.

• Knowledge and experience as a Business Analyst, still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
• Ability to build knowledge of an organization, clients and business operating models.
• Skills for problem solving, analysing possible solutions and making recommendations, receiving a moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Ability to plan, design, and analyse business requirements for development and / or support.
• Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving / critical thinking skills. Must be inquisitive and possess a strong desire to learn.
• Personable, calm, proactive in nature.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage and influence stakeholders to determine optimum solutions.
• Capable of independent thinking to contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas to help meet the firm's commercial objectives.
• Understanding of the FinTech landscape, including commercial finance, are a plus.
• Good planning, organizational, self-management, and facilitation skills.
