SARSAS have an exciting opportunity to join our thriving and dynamic team.
We exist to relieve the trauma and distress and help rebuild the lives of victim-survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.
We are recruiting a team of Casual Bank Trainers. You will join a small busy team of trainers, who deliver high quality specialist sexual violence training to a range of audiences, including Professionals, Adults and Children's Social Care, Schools, Colleges, and Universities.
The training will be delivered in person and online, mostly during office hours but there maybe times we need to deliver training on weekends and evenings. The training will be across Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES with a current focus on Somerset.
People in our bank trainer team will be offered training slots as and when they arise. There will be no minimum number of sessions you need to commit to.
About you:
You will be a confident and experienced trainer who has delivered training in the past for a similar organisation.
You will deliver high quality training both online and in person and assist with assessing the impact of our training.
You will draw on your significant professional experience of supporting survivors of sexual violence, that enables you to understand sexual violence and the devastating impact it has on those that experience it. You will be confident to speak about sexual violence with sensitivity, while challenging problematic beliefs that harm us all.
You will have a reflective practice that you are able to articulate with enthusiasm and detail, when delivering both our programmed and bespoke training, which focuses on system change, prevention, and improving responses to sexual violence so we can create better outcomes for survivors and the organisations that serve them.
You will be happy to work from a trainer script with minimal supervision.

This is a ongoing casual contract, Trainers will be paid £200 per day (7.5 hours), or £100 per half day (3.5 hours).
