Role: Regional Security Officer
Locations: Coventry, Mansfield, Leicestershire, Northampton, Peterborough and Raunds
Salary: £11.25 p/h (40p per mile after 10 miles fuel allowance)
You will work 8 to 12 hour shifts to include days, nights & weekends.
Average Weekly Hours: 48-60 hrs
Employee Status: Permanent / Full Time

Job description
SAMSIC UK are recruiting for a flexible, confident, and professional Security Officer to join our team as a Regional Security Officer.
You will be supporting sites across the Midlands area such as

** Flexibility is vital as you will be required to cover days, nights, weekends & bank holidays - your own transport is essential **

SAMSIC UK are ACS Pacesetters. The ACS Pacesetters membership is made up of Contract Security Guarding Companies who are in the top 15% benchmarking and achievement levels set by the Security Industry Authority Approved Contractor Scheme.

Typical duties will include:
Ensuring staff, property and other assets are secure
Complete daily logs
Produce accurate reports as and when required
Conduct internal and external patrols
Control access and egress to site
Search staff when required
Respond to emergencies
Use access control systems

Essential Requirements:
Current SIA Licence - Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Computer literacy Excel/Word/Email
Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills to be able to follow instructions and prepare reports
Demonstrates good observation skills
Flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
Have a Full UK Driving License
Own a vehicle as travel throughout the whole of the Midlands is required
Have or obtain personal business vehicle insurance
Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
Have a five-year checkable work history (Providing a HMRC 5 Year Work History record at your interview)
