FOH Security Officer

We are looking for a competent Front of House Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our staff and visitors at our site in Chiswick.

This is a customer facing role where you will be responsible for protecting both the staff working on the premises and also the customers entering the buildings. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you will be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behaviour and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviours.

Security experience in a front of house role is essential.

Shifts will be 15:00-23:00 Mon-Sat (48 hrs/wk)

The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.

Pay Rate: £12.50p/h
Contracted Hours: 48 pw
Employee Status: Permanent / Full time

Responsibilities

• Provide front of house presence to visitors and staff
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after the end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before the arrival of authorities
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security officer or guard in a front of house role
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems
• Trained in First Aid
• Registered as a security officer
