In Life Control Administrator (Fleet Team) - Chesterfield (Hybrid)

Salary starting at £25,418, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) and pension

Full time hours - covering times of 08:00am - 16:30pm Monday-Friday, flexi working within these hours.

As a In Life Control Administrator, based within the well-known Chesterfield Office you will have opportunities of hybrid working, reporting directly to the In Life Control Manager.

About the Role
Responsible for a range of administrative tasks within fleet on behalf of Royal Mail. Possessing extensive communication and organisation skills you will handle problems and issues effectively, with a strong customer focus.


Accountable for processing; VED, driver fines, charging zone and maintain shared inbox contact at all required times.


Data input to relevant systems/software e.g. Excel, Word, M5 etc, delivering an administrative service meeting the agreed service levels.


Working with suppliers to deliver against agreed delivery schedule and maintain accurate and relevant data – including filing (electronic and hard copy).



About you
To truly excel in this role, you’ll possess, and be able to evidence, the skills and experience listed below:

  • Good standard of numeracy.
  • Open and comfortable with change, new processes, and new ways of working.
  • Experience in Fleet, especially working knowledge of fleet compliance and legalisation.
  • Excellent IT Skills, computer literate
  • Good standard of organisation skills
