Senior Technical Architect

Our client is a market leading provider of Cloud- based archiving and information governance, servicing firms across the Financial sector (Sell Side) with the tools to easily communicate with confidence! Taking into account global regulatory environment and risk management requirements, our client integrates their compliant Messaging Platform and a host of other services to mitigate Conduct Risk and delivery incredible levels of analytics/ insight.

Senior Technical Architect– Permanent

Location – London (Hybrid)

Our client is a provider of cloud-based archiving and information governance that means their clients in the Financial Sector can easily communicate using their complaint messaging platform and services, whilst mitigating risk. Our client has already become a dominant leader across North America, and they are now looking to grow out their London office to do the same within Europe.

As a leading SaaS provider based in London, they are looking for Technical Architects to join their team ASAP. As a Technical Architect you will be responsible for designing pioneering solutions that solve the organisation’s business problems.

The Architect will work as a member of a small, highly focuses team responsible for designing solutions for a highly scalable and robust messaging system.. This will give successful candidates the opportunity to design and implement systems at scale which can be considered a rare opportunity!

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and provide architectural guidance in deploying microservices (migrate existing services to microservices)

• Develop and maintain a systems architecture that will address existing and emergent business needs

• Responsible for the technology and architecture used by the all teams in the product area

• Ensure that any architectural decisions are implemented by the team are true to the design

Criteria

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience of Java and JavaScript development

• 5 + years of experience in a senior architecture role for an enterprise scale application

• Experience with any of these is a bonus: Big Data (Data Modelling, Building Data Warehouses), Cassandra, Zookeeper, Hadoop, Kafka, Ms SQL, or MongoDB

• Develop tools and framework to enhance current CI/CD automation

• Proven hands-on experience with Architecting Micro-services via Kubernetes
