Equipment Inventory Clerk

The Opportunity:

As our Inventory Clerk, you are the first point of contact for customer service queries and issues related to equipment inventory. You will accurately administer shipping and receiving documentation related to the movement of the equipment to and from the yard of the auction site. You have a broad administrative job in which you will get acquainted with all sorts of documents regarding to customs, gate pass, payment invoices, transport, taxes, etc. Using this position as a starting point you can develop towards both Equipment Inspection and to Customer Service Management. In this job you will:

• Process documentation within our internal systems (e.g. SaleSite, AS/400, etc.)
• Accurately identify equipment serial numbers
• Record basic equipment descriptions and label the equipment correctly
• Provide assistance as required to the DEI Team.
• Promote a culture where the health and safety of our employees and customers is top priority for all.

You have a natural ease dealing with customers. Combined with the fact that you are the type of person that leaves no detail unattended, you have the ideal personality for this position. You have excellent time management skills, the ability to multi-task multiple projects and initiatives effectively and prioritize work are essential. Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. You thrive working as part of a team and pitch-in wherever needed. Furthermore, you have:

• A solid knowledge or desire to gain knowledge of construction equipment and trucks.
• Good working knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite products (e.g. Word, Excel).
• An aptitude for data/numbers and some experience creating and working with spreadsheets.
• Professional level English, both written and verbal.
