This luxury retailer is a true market leader in its field. Specializing in beauty and luxury goods, they have an instantly recognizable name both in the UK and globally. They are looking to recruit a store manager for one of its travel retail outlets in Stansted. The role of store manager within this organization is much more than your typical role on the high street. As well as leading your team to deliver the highest standards of service and leading them to fulfil their potential, this is a highly commercial role. You will work closely with the buying team to ensure that you have the right product and necessary stock levels to deliver the commercial performance expected. You will have the autonomy to make decisions around product placement, store layout and stock levels which is something that isn’t ordinarily given in most organizations.
Coming from a service focused, retail environment, you will be able to demonstrate the skills and experience to lead this business to achieve its goals. You’ll enjoy working with multiple stakeholders and have a proven track record of making successful commercial decisions which have delivered growth in your previous roles. Product experience is less important, the ability to lead and motivate your team is of more importance. Being able to demonstrate how you have traded your business based on your understanding of your customer and evidence of decisions that you’ve made based on product and range to grow sales is of equal importance.
In return the role is paying a basic salary of £43,000 plus the potential to earn an additional £8,600 in bonus. You will also enjoy working one in two weekends.
