ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - SOLAR PV

Do you have a background in electrical design & Engineering with atleast 2 years of practical experience designing Solar PV projects? Are you willing to travel to client sites in Greater London and neighbouring counties?

This well-established company specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of renewable energy systems such as heat pumps and solar PV. They have gone from strength to strength in recent years and have built a strong reputation through the bespoke solutions that they offer their clients. Due to increased demand, the Solar PV division has exciting plans for expansion to drive future success.

In this role, the successful candidate will produce bespoke electrical designs for domestic and commercial solar PV projects using industry specific software (PVSol, PVSyst). You will also attend sites for surveys, assist with MCS certificates and DNO notifications and provide technical guidance to other members of the team.

The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate degree in Engineering ( preferably in Electrical Engineering), with practical knowledge of wiring regulations, cable calculations and AutoCAD software. The candidate would have worked in the design, implementation and maintenance of Heat Pumps and/or Solar PV systems for residential and commercial customers. Past experience working with regulators and awarding bodies will be desirable.

Candidates should be willing to relocate in and around London, to ensure that they are able to travel to the client implementation sites, and help in the maintenance of the company's on call services.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
