Support worker

Portlethen, Aberdeenshire @ £10.50 per hour

Hours of work

Monday to Friday.

8am - 4pm.

Driver essential.

The Role

Temporary 6 months maternity cover with the potential to expand this beyond six months for the right candidate.

The Gentleman you will be supporting has a physical disability ,learning disability and epilepsy

It will be important for you to spend time getting to know the person you will be supporting’s interests , dislikes and how they would like you to work alongside them

You will also be providing support to this gentleman to meet all his required needs such as personal care , medication, eating, drinking, cooking, cleaning, shopping and following his activity planner.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training and shadow shifts will be given. However the candidate we require must have a positive outlook, confidence and willingness to learn as it is a lone working post.

You will be expected to work in Portlethen, Aberdeenshire.

An enhanced PVG is required for this role.

Successful Candidates will be required to drive this gentleman’s mobility vehicle.
