Position Overview & Specifications
Our private clients are seeking an experienced Housekeeper to work as part of a team of four for their large, informal household near Abergavenny in Wales. The family are in residence for approximately 3 – 6 months of the month/year and during these periods, the Housekeeper will be expected to have a flexible attitude to their working hours.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced housekeeper who is also confident in dinner party service and greeting guests to the home. The housekeeper should also be an excellent team player and be pet friendly as the role will involve some pet dog and hamster care.
Duties: All housekeeping and laundry duties to immaculate standards plus any duty relating to the general maintenance and upkeep of the property. Service and greeting duties when family are in residence. Per care.
Working days & hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week (some weeks will include weekends)
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 gross per year
Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
