Bank Radiology Assistant - £10.50 per hour
Tees Valley Hospital is a new state of the art hospital that opened its doors in February 2018. We are part of the Ramsay Healthcare Group. Ramsay are a global organisation offering NHS and Private healthcare in a number of specialities.
As a growing, innovative department, looking to recruit an experienced Bank Radiography Assistant to join our Imaging team.

The role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a bank radiology department assistant to work across the X-ray, Ultrasound and new MRI departments at the Tees Valley Hospital in Middlesbrough. In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.
In this role you would be expected to assist the Radiographers and Sonographers in their daily duties. This would also include chaperoning, administrative duties, aseptic technique and assisting in sterile procedures.

Shifts across Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (with potential for extended hours)

What you’ll bring with you:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • To act in a professional manner at all times respecting privacy, dignity and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication, customer care and customer service skills.
  • A commitment to CPD and evidence based practice and personal development.
  • A good standard of IT literacy
  • Working effectively and independently as part of the Physiotherapy team and the wider multi-disciplinary team
  • Passion to deliver high quality diagnostic services
  • A flexible and positive can do attitude
  • Previous experience within a Radiology or hospital Department
