Position Overview & Specifications
We invite you to come join our NorCal Imaging team as a Computed Tomography Technologist. We have 4 full-time career opportunities located at our multi-modality outpatient imaging practices across Santa Clara County. The center currently uses a GE and provides a wide variety of diagnostic imaging services to patients in a comfortable and patient friendly environment.
As a CT Technologist you'll:
- Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
- Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Assist radiologists with procedures such as image guided body biopsies and thyroid biopsies.
- May occasionally travel to our nearby outpatient centers to help with coverage if needed
- Participate in projects and/or meetings, and complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:
We're looking for experienced and professional radiology technologist candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient radiologic (add fluoroscopy if needed) exams and procedures with high quality results. Applicants must have ARRT(R) certification (CT) preferred, CA State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT), BLS certification issued by AHA, (a CA State Fluoroscopy Permit if performing fluoroscopy in CA), and great communication skills! Recent X-Ray work experience (post externship) is preferred!

Pay: $42.00 - $58.00 per hour
