Position Overview & Specifications

Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Graduate Food Product Developer to join our team based in Leeds!

The Role

Working closely with our team of Senior Product Developers and Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of new food product concepts from concept to launch which are ultimately fit for the Quorn brand.

You will be involved in the end-to-end food innovation process, working cross-functionally with people such as our team of amazing innovation chefs and across our supplier base within our manufacturing sites to develop and deliver new concepts.

Day-to-day, you'll typically be supporting technical aspects of food product development which meet briefs on time and in full, as well as development project risk assessments, writing robust product specifications, contributing to idea generation sessions and keeping detailed records of all work carried out in order to report on results.

This role is a hybrid position with travel required between our sites in Leeds and Stokesley, as well as allowing flexibility to work remotely if needed.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Undergraduate level qualification (expected 2023 or already achieved) in food science/technology
  • Ability to work flexibly across our sites in West & North Yorkshire
  • Demonstrable passion for food, food trends and in particular, the meat-free category
  • Capability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to solve problems and achieve results
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!
