What the Hiring Manager says
The successful candidate will be supporting the Finance Change team. Focus will be on delivery of the change initiatives across the function, including central Finance, Capital, Treasury and Tax. The team has a developing book of change which needs someone with drive, determination and enthusiasm to deliver.

The role is to review, interpret, understand and analyse processes with the ability to clearly articulate findings and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and knowledge of impacts across all areas.
Actively manage, co-ordinate and drive process reviews, working closely with other teams to map key processes and controls, documenting back to source and partnering with Operations to create a complete map end to end (accounting records back to source).
Be able to identify and implement any potential quick wins that will benefit efficiency of processes whilst maintaining an effective control environment.
Identify remediation areas and confidently work with stakeholders to agree and document remedial actions.
Confident to communicate and escalate potential risks to ensure the successful delivery and achievement of outcomes are clear and putting in place mitigating actions as required.
Actively participate in the delivery of subsequent initiatives and process improvements ensuring appropriate controls and governance are put in place.
Be aware of interdependencies on other transformation initiatives, both within Finance and across Quilter that could impact delivery - clearly identifying and documenting the impact.
Further support of wider Finance Change activities may also be required particularly where there is overlap with other workstreams.
You will be a role model for the behaviours that are critical to the successful delivery of Quilter’s transformation objectives, including pro-activity, delivery and outcome orientated, outward (rather than internal) focus, driving for simplicity and avoiding bureaucracy.
The successful candidate will support the effective and regular reporting of progress to the relevant Finance executives and the Group Finance Director.
Will identify opportunities where external support may be beneficial to Finance/Quilter to maximise transformation outcomes or mitigate risk.

You will have significant knowledge/demonstrable experience in disciplined delivery in complex stakeholder environments.

The ability to articulate processes is key, experience in Visio would be beneficial.
Experience in, or a desire to learn, system architecture would be advantageous.
