Warehouse Operative – Crick

Here at Quest Employment, we are seeking a large volume of Warehouse Operatives for a position based in Crick (Transport provided from Coventry City Centre) – working for Quest Employment is working for a company where people are our priority.

The Role:

As a warehouse operative you could be working in a variety of different environments, the majority of the work currently will be on ‘Goods in’ which can involve lifting products up to 25kg – you may also be working on voice picking which means good English communication skills are essential!

The Warehouses are clean, safe and up to date with the most modern facilities.

You will report directly to your line manager and could be working in all areas of the warehouse making sure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring you follow health and safety rules at all times
• Moving various packages and products around the warehouse
• Picking orders and packaging them to an accurate level using voice picking
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment
• Meeting company warehouse standard and procedures
• Loading and unloading stock into the warehouse

Location and commitments:

• This role can be demanding and can involve manual work, lifting and moving items up to 25kg and moving around the warehouse on foot – so several miles a day can be done!
• Full time work
• Rotating shift pattern – one week 6am-2pm one week 2pm-10pm
• Transport can be provided to work from Coventry city centre
• Regular overtime available with an increased pay rate.

Requirements:

• Able to meet the physical demands of the role
• Able to work in a fast paced and target driven environment
• A flexible attitude to work and hours
• A sound understanding of English both written and spoken
• Previous experience in similar roles would be an advantage
