Position Overview & Specifications
To liaise with all aspects of the MDT to ensure greater patient experience and that service provisions are implemented in a timely, effective and efficient manner.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team on tilney ward which specialises in Cardiology/ Coronary.
The ward is comprised of a 3 bedded Coronary Care Unit and is designed to enhance the smooth flow of patients requiring cardiac procedures such as angiograms and angioplasties. We also manage a variety of medical conditions too. The unit has a high turnover of patients and is supported by the Cardiology Medical Team and Cardiac rehab Nurses.
The Band 4 role will be fully supported, with opportunities available to develop skills, to include being Team Leader, undertaking Staff Appraisals and supporting staff development.
Included in this post would be opportunities to attend meetings, which would give you the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the Strategic management and vision of the Trust.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) King’s Lynn is located near some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK, along the north Norfolk coast, and not far from Sandringham House.
We provide a comprehensive range of specialist, acute, obstetrics and community-based healthcare services to around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, in addition to parts of Breckland, Cambridgeshire and South Lincolnshire. We have more than 4,000 staff and volunteers, approximately 530 beds, and a helipad for air ambulances. We work with neighbouring hospitals for the provision of tertiary services, including as part of regional partnership and network models of care, such as the trauma network. Some specialist services and clinics are provided in community facilities, such as the North Cambridgeshire hospital in Wisbech.
