Breakfast Waiting Team Member

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, morning person to join our team at the Washington Guesthouse as a Breakfast Waiting Team Member. This position offers part time work in the mornings, with contracted hours between 10 and 15 hours per week - working between 3 and 5 days per week on a rota basis (weekends included on rotation).

This position definitely suits an early riser as you need to be able to provide great customer service from the word go (although coffee can definitely assist with this!).

Key details of the Breakfast Waiting position:

• Based at the Washington Guesthouse in Clifton, Bristol
• Between 10 and 15 hours per week (worked over 3 to 5 short morning shifts)
  
• £9.60 per hour plus a cash bonus of £10 per positive Tripadvisor or other online review mention
• Working to a rota - to include weekends (please note we will not consider candidates who are not able to work on weekends as part of a rota - not every weekend will be worked, but you must be able to work some!)
  
• Weekday shifts will be approx. 7am until 10am
• Weekend shifts will be approx. 8am until 11am

What does the Breakfast Waiting role involve?

• Serving breakfast to hotel guests
• Setting up the breakfast buffet and ensuring that remains topped up during the breakfast service; clearing down the buffet when breakfast ends
  
• Taking orders from guests for hot breakfast food and delivering that food to the table
• Clearing tables to ensure the dining room looks smart at all time
• Assisting with the clear down (some occasional washing up help will be needed if based at the Washington)
  

Who are we looking for in a Breakfast Waiting Team Member?

You'll be an early riser who is able to provide friendly and efficient customer service to all guests from the word go! You will enjoy what you do and find fun in your work, whilst being productive and getting the job done! You'll be efficient and will be a team player - able to help out where needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction. You'll be quite flexible with your availability throughout the week (this is a part time role, so if there is a day you can't do we'll do our best to work around that). We are also looking for people who are reliable and are able to get to the venue by the required start time easily (we are based in Clifton, Bristol - parking is not available at the hotels but there is ample bike parking)

The interview process:
