We help our clients stay ahead of changes that impact their businesses, navigating complexity and risk. We deliver deep tax technical, people and legal expertise, while providing the critical context to make informed and compliant decisions. With clients ranging from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses, the work we do is diverse.


A career within Corporate Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You’ll also help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals. Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.

when necessary)

  • Communicate with my clients, regularly updating them and sharing progress
  • Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner – verbally and in written form

In your day to day role you’ll have the opportunity to:

Act as go-to contact with the client, responding to issues and questions.

Communicate with colleagues on when they can expect to receive back work and effectively project manage compliance and consulting tasks.

Lead catch ups with colleagues to run through clients. Commit to dates by which projects will progress

Set and discuss realistic timelines when delegating work - when is it needed to be done by? What is the consequence (if any) of it being later than this?

Explain relevant client positions and reconciling notices or letters

Complete initial reviews of complex US and UK tax returns

Ensuring information from the client, all relevant emails and financial documents are saved, referenced and reported correctly

Ensure calculations and reporting clearly demonstrate thought process proactively flag anything that needs further attention from the M/SM. Noting and explaining a client's ultimate position. Research, make and propose decisions on how things will be reported and explain reasoning.

Assist in training, be this through supporting on a training sessions or identifying topics/areas that the team need training on

Review proposed bills

Proactively helping colleagues to promote healthy work environment

Take a role in the team outside of client work - e.g. assisting with overall training program, working on technology for the team, helping with season kick off, BD for team in terms of raising profile internally and externally

Key Skills and Experience

  • Both UK and US Tax Knowledge

  • Experience of working with Private Clients

  • ACA/CTA or ATT qualification preferable

  • Enrolled Agency qualification would be beneficial but not essential
