Park Ranger (Ride Operator) - Part Time

Set in the Somerset countryside, the 50-acre family adventure park has been providing great days-out to people of all ages for over 15 years!

A Park Ranger is tasked with the day-to-day operation of the many attractions here within the adventure park and indoor soft play area.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Checking the safety of the attractions and play equipment
• Helping visitors of all ages on and off rides
• Ensuring visitors are using the equipment safely
• Delivering engaging and enthusiastic customer service
• Keeping the park and indoor soft play clean and tidy
• Assisting the cleaning team with daily operations
• Maintaining the cleanliness of park grounds
• Willingness to take part in Puxton Park events

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following requirements for this role:

• Must be 16 years or older to apply
• Capabilities to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time as required by the nature of the role
• Willing to work outdoors for extended periods of time in all weather conditions
• Demonstrate complete understanding of safety components and be able to board guests onto attractions whilst being conscious of their limitations
• Express appropriate behaviour towards guests on and off the attractions
• Operate numerous outdoor and indoor rides and attractions throughout the working day
• Ability to identify potential hazards and report them professionally
• Ability to confidently communicate safety information to visitors of all ages

Puxton Park is a fast-paced working environment, candidates must be flexible and responsive to work any time during a 7 day week. A working schedule is always provided a month ahead however should the business require; adjustments may be made to your schedule.

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
