Who are Purecontent?

We’re a growing Content Marketing agency based in the heart of Norwich. We provide content creation, digital marketing, and SEO services for a global client base in multiple languages, across a diverse range of industries. There are around 40 of us based in Norwich, and we have a strong community of content creators, writers and editors located all over the world.

The Vacancy

We are looking for a confident, experienced content professional to manage a number of large projects in our portfolio. A successful applicant will have a thorough working knowledge of content production and content marketing, with experience of delivering successful content projects previously.

Our Content Managers must be able to deal with a wide range of varying projects, seamlessly planning and executing deliverables on time and to budget, all while maintaining our quality standards. You will be able to creatively find solutions and strategies to drive return on investment for our clients.

Working with the Sales Department, you will help secure new projects and orders from new and existing clients, aiding in the preparation of proposal documents and presentations. Developing and enhancing our products and procedures, our Content Managers must drive a process of continuous improvement. They will be at ease line managing and coordinating junior members of the content team.

Applicants for this post will need to be highly confident and initiative-taking. The successful individual will be at ease taking the lead within the project team and thrive in being accountable and responsible for the delivery of large scale and high-volume content projects across multiple products and languages. They must be customer-focused, ensuring we deliver the excellent service we pride ourselves on as a business.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Planning, securing and implementing a portfolio of successful content projects

· Helping guide departmental strategy, planning and budgeting

· Driving a positive working culture and environment of continuous improvement

· Identifying and executing process improvements across the department

· Developing and training others - managing project teams and line management

· Driving, maintaining and ensuring quality content is delivered according to briefs and guidelines.

· Quality Control and Assurance – ensuring processes are in place to guarantee quality for clients

· Monitoring and improving the quality and availability of writers and editors

· Liaising with clients and ensuring they are dealt with in a timely and professional way.

· Developing, maintaining and delivering accurate reports and data to clients and management

· Strong commercial awareness - driving budgets and cost control measures

· An adaptive learner - IT savvy, at ease in Microsoft, Google and other online software and platforms

· Solution focused – thinks outside the box to find novel solutions to unexpected challenges

· Persistent and determined - dealing with setbacks and challenges with enthusiasm and energy

Qualifications and Experience

2+ years working in content marketing or digital marketing. Experience in the production and management of written content and project management is essential. Experience in writing and editing content, content marketing and SEO is desirable.

Excellent written and spoken English with a thorough working knowledge of grammar and punctuation.

Education to A-level or equivalent or existing industry knowledge with a minimum B Grade at English and Maths (or level 6) at GCSE.

Location and hours

We are based in Norwich City Centre. Our standard working hours are 8.30-17:00 Mon-Fri. We have a flexible working policy in place after successful probation.
