Punk Cake has opened it’s first shop in the heart of Crouch End!

We are looking for energetic individuals to join our ever growing team and help us grow our amazing brand.

Our shop is located at the heart of Crouch End, moments from the famous clock tower. We are offering whole celebration, wedding and other large cakes as well as our famous Croquembouche, cupcakes, profiteroles, cookies and many small desserts and cakes along with creative hot and cold drinks. Our offering can be found online and in-shop. We deliver across London and we offer on demand delivery via our delivery partners.

Our products are premium and are made fresh using quality ingredients. We are known for our delicious cakes such as the Triple Hazelnut and Lemon Raspberries and Cream. Our tall Croquembouche towers are showstoppers that our customers love.

Full-time and or Part-time experienced Shop Assistant/Barista
We have an opportunity for an experienced and energetic Shop Assistant with Barista experience to join our team

The role

-Receiving, displaying and rotating cakes, cupcakes, all of ur premium homemade products in store

-Arranging and labeling goods in the display shelves

-Assisting customers in finding the products they’re looking for

-Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till

-Addressing customer complaints and inquiries

-Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers

-Cleaning and rearranging the store after hours

-Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times

-Preparing and serving desserts/cakes to customers within the shop seating area

-Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks

-Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in line with company policy

-Able to work weekend (within a rotating schedule 5 days out of 7)

-Work alongside the team to create new products for our website

-Being organized and meeting deadlines ensuring production is on time for our products to be delivered

-Being a respectful team player and contribute to our ongoing happy working atmosphere

Requirements:

-Professional level of spoken and written English

-Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
