Pharmacy Dispenser/Technician

Green Light Pharmacy is based at the heart of the community in Swiss Cottage. It is adjacent to a private medical practice, Prime Health Partners. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for a challenge and something different. Not only will you be conducting your normal duties as a Lead Dispenser, you will also have the opportunity to work alongside the Doctors in the Private Clinic, providing excellent service to the niche cliental we have.

We are looking for a new member of staff to join our friendly team of 5 staff.

The position will include daily shifts during our opening hours 09:00-18:30 Monday to Friday.

Duties Include:

Dispensing Duties

Take the lead role in ensuring all dispensary processes are managed including prescription collection and delivery, repeat dispensing and MDS service.

Should be proficient in using pro script pharmacy computer system and be able to manage the end of the day and end of the month procedures effectively.

Dealing with collection and delivery of prescription queries.

Dealing with telephone enquiries from, suppliers, branch pharmacy and local GP surgery.

Booking and managing appointments for additional services.

To work alongside the pharmacist to effectively sign up MUR/NMS/Travel Vaccines and other additional services.

Stock Control.

Essential Experience/Qualities:

Fluent spoken and written English

Basic IT skills incl. MS Word, Excel, numeracy skills

Previous customer/patient care experience

Experience of working in a team

Ability to cope with and manage change

Ability to prioritise own workload

Flexibility in working pattern and duties

Friendly and approachable manner

Desirable Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a UK community pharmacy required, with a Pharmacy technician (NVQ2/NVQ3) qualification.
