Day Support Worker Full Time

Role: Support Worker
Locations: Maryland, Stratford London
Salary: £10.10 per hour
Shifts: 7am-2:30pm & 2pm-9:30pm - you need to be able to work both shifts
Contract: Permanent full time & requires working alternate weekends

If you have previous experience as a support worker, care assistant, domiciliary/home care, or residential homes then this would be ideal for you. If not, don’t worry if you have no experience as this isn’t necessary and full training will be provided. Services
Chandos Road provides innovative, proactive and person centred rehabilitation to adults with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI). Individuals who access our services have acquired their brain injuries through: Trauma, Strokes, Anoxic/hypoxic injuries or illnesses such as meningitis and toxicity

Support Worker duties:

• Supporting residents to develop independence and life skills
• Assisting people to achieve daily goals & daily activities such as arts, crafts, hobbies
• Assisting with the development of person centred plans for our residents
• This includes employment, education and other opportunities
• Maintaining records and drawing up risk assessments
• Providing personal care where needed always working towards more independence
• Supporting people in undertaking daily activities or development
