Nights HGV Class 1 Driver

As a result of our rapid and continued growth, we have immediate positions available for HGV Class 1 Drivers at Wigan DC

Rotating 6 week rolling shift pattern – 40 hrs per week with a paid 45 minute break.

Rate of pay

Starting from £13.94 up to £20.90 per hour.

Mulitiple shift patterns available to suit most life styles. Excellent premiums available.

A 50p per hour additional payment after 3 months service for zero tacho infringements and zero road traffic accidents (fault) per week.

Enhanced incentive rates offered during peak period.

28 days holiday per annum based on a 5 day working week.

About this amazing opportunity

Based at our Wigan Distribution Centre in Ashton-In-Makerfield. You'll be reporting directly into the Transport Manager / Team Manager. You will have good working knowledge and understanding of Transport and distribution who is able to embrace and adapt with change.

• A class one licence with no endorsements, CPC card and geographical knowledge.

What you'll need on your CV

1 year’s driving experience is essential.

An excellent work ethic is a must along with common sense and who is self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will be able to work as an individual, or as a team player within the company guidelines.
