WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (F/M/D)

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES


As part of a current team of 3 warehouse operatives located in our Head Office in Sheffield, this role will be responsible for supporting all warehouse and shipping activities to ensure a professional and efficient service to customers.
  • Booking in of product articles into the SAP system.
  • Organisation of product articles into the correct allocated warehouse storage locations.
  • Picking and packing of articles in preparation for distribution.
  • Dealing with logistics couriers.
  • Handling of Royal Mail postal collection service.
  • Conducting annual and perpetual stocktakes.
  • Operation of forklift equipment (training provided).
  • Assisting with recycling processes.
  • Any other general warehouse duties, as required.
PROFILE & REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge and experience of a warehouse related environment.
  • Ability to undertake a physically demanding role.
  • Flexibility to meet customer and business needs.
  • A strong focus on customer service.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight schedules
  • Competence with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience of SAP is desirable, but not essential.
