Art and Design Technology Technician – North London – ASAP Start
A popular and oversubscribed East London Secondary School are seeking an Art and Design Technology Technician to provide technical and administrative assistance in their department. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, term time only, 8:30am – 4:00pm.

About the role:
The successful Art and Design Technology Technician will be a reliable, flexible and self motivated professional with substantial experience in Art and Design.
Duties will include:
- Preparing materials and equipment for use in lessons
- Ensuring efficient organisation of materials and equipment
- Maintaining a tidy
- Sharing high expectations for pupil progress
- providing technical support within the classroom including working alongside students
- To undertake basic record keeping as directed
- To assist the teacher with learning activities ensuring health and safety and good behaviour of pupils
- To monitor and arrange orderly and secure storage of supplies
- To assist with corridor and classroom display board upkeep
- Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security and confidentiality, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person
