Tufting Machine Operative

We are looking for someone with tufting / textile manufacturing experience - please apply if you have this. Limited tufting / textiles manufacturing experience will also be acceptable. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept applicants who do not have this.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn quickly and willingness to work efficiently and a drive to improve continuously
• Good communication skills
• Good time management skills
• An ability to work on your own initiative
• The ability to adapt to changes and work under pressure
• To work well as a part of a team and communicate with other workers
• Positive, "can do" attitude is crucial
• Tufting experience is essential

Essential:

• Good level of numeracy, literacy and general education
• Very good level of written and spoken English
• A great eye for detail

Hours of work:

This role will operate on a day shift Monday to Thursday 7.45 - 16.30 Friday 7.45 - 15.15 with the possibility of a shift pattern and overtime in peak season so flexibility is required
