Textile Machine Operative

We are a family run manufacturing company based in Clayton West, Huddersfield. We have been operating in this location since 1954. We have a wide range of brands and outlets and distribute nationwide. We are looking for experienced Textile Machine operators to join our manufacturing team.

Requirements:

· Operation of different types of machinery

· To understand their operating procedures

· To ensure fabrics are processed to specifications and plan.

· Follow procedures for different fabric qualities.

Preferred skills and experience

• Good level of numeracy, literacy, and general education
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Good level of written and spoken English
• A great eye for detail

· Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.

· Have good organizational skills.

· Experience of Carpet Tufting, Backing or Cutting

Hours of work:

Day Shift: Monday - Thursday 7.45am - 16.30pm Friday 7.45am - 15.15pm

Machine Operative: up to £12.92 (after 12 weeks training)

These roles will operate on a continuous shift pattern of Monday to Thursday

Day Shift: 6.00am - 18.00pm

Machine Operative: up to £12.92 (after 12 weeks training)

Night Shift 18.00pm - 6.00am

Machine operatives: up to £14.32 (after 12 weeks training)

Full training will be provided for a 3-month period, and this would be on the Day shift.
